More days in the gym

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

Anyone who works in a pharmacy, be it retail or hospital, private or otherwise, knows how most “normal” days go…

Within 15 seconds of your grand entrance, any one (if not all) of the following are happening…

Customers/patients are in a screaming rush to get their meds because “you always take forever w/MY stuff”, the phone is ring-ring-ringing off the hook, doctors and nurses are tossing you around mentally a bit, everything that can go wrong does go wrong and you’re stuck in the middle of that forest fire w/o even a thimble of water…

You’d think that more ppl would understand why I want to punch ppl in the face daily…Sometimes twice daily…

So, I finally have a website…I’m not sure that this website will be ENTIRELY about MMA…Where to start??…

Yeah, I know now…

Many a person has asked me, “what makes a pharmacist want to be a fighter?”…This is a reasonable question, as most ppl consider pharmacists to be a fairly benevolent breed, complete with horn-rimmed glasses and a bowtie…

And professionally, there exists a sort of raised eyebrow look that accompanies the thought of a ‘respectable’ medical professional hopping in a cage and fighting another man…

More on this thought later…
